Chief Minister Partakes in Prasad with Community Members at Valmiki Temple
Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday set a notable example of simplicity and social harmony by joining members of the Valmiki community and residents of Indira Colony, Panchkula, for Prasad, which he also partook as his evening meal at the Valmiki Temple in the colony.
The Chief Minister reached Indira Colony after attending a district-level Prashikshan Shivir at the PWD Rest House in Panchkula, where he served as the Chief Guest. He travelled in an electric bus, conveying a message of fuel conservation and environmental protection.
Upon reaching the Valmiki Temple, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Maharishi Valmiki and sought blessings. He then interacted with local residents and community members.
CM Sits on Ground to Partake in Prasad
In a display of humility, CM Nayab Singh Saini sat on the ground and partook Prasad served by women of the community. He also engaged warmly with residents, inquiring about their well-being.
Local residents expressed happiness over the Chief Minister’s visit and appreciated his simplicity and direct interaction with the community.
Warm Welcome by Residents
Residents of Indira Colony, including women, senior citizens, and children, gave the Chief Minister a warm welcome. They said his humility in sitting among them and sharing Prasad had won their hearts.
They further stated that the Haryana Government, under his leadership, is continuously working for the welfare and upliftment of all sections of society.

Those present on the occasion included Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma, former Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, State Vice President Banto Kataria, District President Ajay Mittal, newly elected Mayor Shyam Lal Bansal, Prashikshan Shivir Observer Sanjay Sharma, and several other dignitaries.
