CM Nayab Singh Saini Visits Jyotisar, Says Mahabharat Comes Alive at Anubhav Kendra
Chandigarh, September 4, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday visited Jyotisar in Kurukshetra, offered prayers at Jyotisar Tirth and inspected the Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra.
Saini said anyone from around the world who wants to witness the story of the Mahabharat coming alive through modern technology should visit the centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the facility, which is emerging as a major cultural and tourism destination in Haryana.
Mahabharat Through Modern Technology
The Chief Minister said the centre combines traditional storytelling with modern technology to present the Mahabharat and the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
Spread over around 17 acres, the centre has more than one lakh square feet of indoor space. During his inspection, Saini issued necessary directions to Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena.
He also attended a discourse by Gita Manishi Gyananand Maharaj at the Gita Gyan Sansthanam premises.
Assurance on Paddy Procurement
Speaking to journalists, Saini said the Haryana government is in continuous coordination with the Central Government regarding paddy procurement.
He said higher moisture content in paddy can create difficulties for commission agents and procurement agencies and urged farmers to bring their produce within the prescribed moisture limits.
The Chief Minister assured farmers that they would not face difficulties during the procurement season.
Saini also interacted with children dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha during his visit.

Saini's visit comes as part of the state's broader focus on promoting Haryana's cultural heritage and tourism. The Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar is being positioned as a major destination for visitors seeking to experience the epic through technology and immersive storytelling.
