Delhi Cabinet Thanks PM Modi for 25 Years in Public Service, Central Support

The Delhi Cabinet has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 25 years in public service and the Centre’s support for development projects in the national capital, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Wednesday. At a press conference, Gupta highlighted infrastructure projects and policy initiatives undertaken over the past year, saying Central support had contributed to Delhi’s ‘Viksit Delhi’ mission.

CM Highlights Policy Implementation

Gupta said several Central government policies were implemented in Delhi after her government took office in 2025. She cited the implementation of Ayushman Yojana after the first Cabinet meeting as an example. She also said the Prime Minister had provided financial assistance and guidance to address long-standing issues affecting the capital.

Centre’s Role in Decongestion Plans

Referring to Delhi’s plans to reduce traffic congestion, Gupta said road infrastructure projects undertaken by the Centre were helping the city move towards decongestion. Her remarks highlighted the Delhi government’s emphasis on cooperation with the Centre for infrastructure development and the resolution of legacy issues.
