Haryana to launch Seva Sankalp Abhiyan
Chandigarh, September 16, 2026: Haryana is set to join the nationwide Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from September 17 to October 17, with a series of public welfare and service-oriented programmes across the state. The month-long campaign will begin with the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ programme, under which diyas will be lit at identified locations and major project sites. Beneficiaries will also participate with their families.
CM reviews preparations
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a meeting in Chandigarh on Wednesday to review preparations for the campaign and directed officers to finalise programme dates and action plans in advance. He ordered districts to appoint nodal officers and regularly monitor the programmes. Deputy Commissioners from all districts joined the meeting through video conferencing.The Chief Minister also directed departments to organise Seva Camps at block level and in municipal bodies and Mahagrams. Citizens will be able to get beneficiary details corrected, resolve grievances and enrol eligible people in welfare schemes at these camps. Saini said services should be provided at the camps themselves so that people do not have to repeatedly visit government offices.
Schools and colleges to organise activities
The School Education and Higher Education Departments have been asked to organise activities focused on service, nation-building and creativity. Painting, rangoli and other competitions will be held for students, while notable initiatives and innovations from districts and educational institutions will be documented and showcased.
Second phase of Lado Lakshmi Yojana
The Chief Minister will launch the second phase of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana during the Vishwakarma Diwas programme in Mahendragarh. Eligible workers will also receive benefits under various welfare schemes. Officials have been directed to ensure that eligible beneficiaries are connected with the schemes transparently and without unnecessary delays.
District success stories to be showcased
The Chief Minister directed officials to document innovations, successful initiatives and notable work emerging from every district during the campaign. These success stories will be promoted through social media and other digital platforms to encourage the adoption of good practices across the state.
