In a significant milestone for Haryana’s economic growth, the state government has launched its flagship "Make in Haryana" Policy along with nine new sector-specific industrial policies, receiving investment commitments worth over ₹1.10 lakh crore almost immediately after their introduction.
The announcement was made during a high-profile event in Gurugram attended by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh, industry leaders, investors, startup founders, MSMEs, foreign delegates, and senior government officials.
Of the total investment commitments received, nearly ₹30,000 crore is expected to come through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), highlighting growing global confidence in Haryana as an investment destination.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Haryana is entering a new phase of industrial development. He emphasized that the government is focused on providing faster approvals, investor-friendly governance, modern infrastructure, employment generation, and strong partnerships with industry.
The newly launched policies aim to strengthen manufacturing, electric vehicles, electronics, food processing, data centres, advanced manufacturing, toys and sports goods, and other emerging sectors. A key feature of the "Make in Haryana" Policy is the extension of financial incentives across the entire state, ensuring balanced industrial growth.
The policy offers capital subsidies of up to 30 percent, SGST reimbursement benefits, R&D incentives of up to ₹50 crore, export-linked incentives, and special support for green and sustainable manufacturing practices.
To further improve the ease of doing business, the government also unveiled an AI-enabled "Single Window 2.0" platform. The system will help investors identify suitable land, calculate incentives, understand regulatory requirements, and receive AI-powered assistance for investment planning.
Another major announcement was the upcoming "Happening Haryana" Global Investors Summit, which aims to showcase Haryana as a preferred destination for national and international investments.
The event also witnessed the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹90,000 crore across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, electronics, renewable energy, food processing, and MSMEs. These projects are expected to generate substantial employment opportunities and accelerate industrial development throughout the state.
With strong connectivity, strategic access to the NCR region, expanding infrastructure, and progressive policies, Haryana is steadily strengthening its position as one of India's most attractive investment destinations.
