‘No Recommendations, Only Merit-Based Jobs’: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Reaffirms Transparent Recruitment Policy

Mohali: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday reiterated that government jobs in the state are being provided strictly on the basis of merit and eligibility, without any recommendation or political influence.

The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to regularised employees of the Forest and Wildlife Preservation Department during a programme held at Vikas Bhawan in Sector-62, Mohali.

Addressing the gathering, CM Mann highlighted the government’s commitment to maintaining transparency in recruitment processes. He said that every government appointment under his administration has been made through a fair and merit-based system.

The Chief Minister stated that the aim of the government is to create employment opportunities for the people of Punjab and strengthen public confidence in government services.

He assured the newly appointed employees that the government would safeguard their rights and provide better working opportunities. He also stressed the importance of strengthening departments and improving public services across the state.

Senior officials from the administration and concerned departments were present during the programme.
