Panchkula Road Accident: Two Chandigarh Youths Killed While Heading to Solan
Panchkula, September 5, 2026: Two youths from Chandigarh were killed in a late-night road accident while travelling by motorcycle from Chandigarh to Solan. The accident took place on the highway before the Chandimandir toll plaza.
The deceased have been identified as Pradeep, a resident of Sector 45, Chandigarh, and Ashish, a resident of Sector 28, Chandigarh.
Friends Found Them Lying on the Road
According to the available information, a group of friends had left Chandigarh for Solan on separate motorcycles on Friday night. Pradeep and Ashish were riding together and had moved ahead of the other members of the group.
At around 1 am, their friends reached the highway near the Chandimandir toll plaza and found both youths lying on the road.
Police Investigating Cause of Accident
The exact circumstances leading to the accident are not yet clear. It has not been established whether the motorcycle collided with another vehicle or whether the crash occurred due to another reason.
Police have started an investigation to determine how the accident happened and establish the sequence of events.
