The iconic Sukhna Lake is witnessing a noticeable decline in visitor footfall as intense summer heat grips the region.
Due to rising temperatures during daytime, fewer people are visiting the lake, especially in the afternoon hours. While early mornings and evenings still see some activity, overall crowd movement has reduced compared to the pleasant weather months.
Local vendors and boat operators have also reported a dip in business, attributing it to the extreme heat conditions that are keeping residents indoors during peak hours.
Despite the slowdown, the lake remains a preferred spot for evening walks and occasional visits when temperatures drop slightly after sunset.
