2026 Toyota Innova Crysta Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs 19.72 Lakh

New Delhi, June 4, 2026:

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the updated 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta in India at a starting price of Rs 19.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest version of the popular MPV receives subtle styling enhancements, additional convenience features, and an upgraded interior while retaining its trusted diesel powertrain.

On the exterior, the 2026 Innova Crysta features a redesigned front grille and revised bumper garnish, giving the MPV a more premium and commanding road presence. The rear bumper garnish has also been updated, adding a fresh touch to the vehicle's familiar design.

Inside the cabin, Toyota has introduced a new dual-tone leather upholstery theme complemented by Grace Copper accents and wood-pattern inserts across the dashboard, door trims, and various interior elements. The revised interior aims to offer a more premium and contemporary feel to occupants.

The feature list has also been enhanced with the addition of a wireless smartphone charger and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Other key features include a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, and rear AC vents.

Powering the MPV is the same 2.4-litre diesel engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Known for its durability, fuel efficiency, and long-distance comfort, the diesel engine continues to be a major attraction for both private and commercial buyers. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency of up to 15 kmpl.

Safety features remain comprehensive with seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Start Assist Control, ABS with EBD, and Brake Assist offered as standard.

The updated Innova Crysta is available in five colour options — Platinum White Pearl, Super White, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, and Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic.

The launch comes at a time when the Innova HyCross has emerged as Toyota's flagship MPV. However, the diesel-powered Innova Crysta continues to enjoy strong demand among customers seeking reliability, practicality, and long-distance touring comfort.

Industry reports suggest that the Innova Crysta could eventually be phased out by 2027 as Toyota expands its focus on hybrid and electrified mobility solutions. If so, the 2026 update could represent one of the final major refreshes for one of India's most successful MPVs.
