Bajaj’s upcoming 250cc adventure bike has been spotted testing with a TFT console, Michelin MT60 tyres

Bajaj Adventure Bike Spied Again: 250cc Dual-Sport Gets TFT Console, MT60 Tyres

New Delhi: Bajaj’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing in India once again, revealing new details about its equipment and hardware ahead of its expected launch.

The upcoming 250cc dual-sport motorcycle was seen with a TFT instrument console and multifunction switchgear, indicating that Bajaj could equip the bike with a fairly comprehensive electronics package.

TFT Console and Multifunction Switchgear Spotted

The latest test prototype features a TFT instrument console along with multifunction switchgear. The switchgear appears similar to the setup seen on the recently launched Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS.

This could indicate that the upcoming adventure motorcycle may offer a range of connected features and electronic rider aids. However, Bajaj has not yet officially confirmed the final equipment list.

Michelin MT60 Tyres Highlight Dual-Sport Focus

Another notable detail visible in the spy images is the use of Michelin MT60 dual-purpose tyres.

The motorcycle also appears to have a tall stance and long-travel suspension, both of which point towards a dual-sport character designed to handle a mix of road and off-road riding.

These features suggest that Bajaj is positioning the upcoming motorcycle as a more adventure-focused product rather than a conventional street motorcycle.

Expected 249cc Engine Based on Pulsar N250

The India-spec motorcycle is expected to use a 249cc air/oil-cooled engine derived from the Pulsar N250.

Bajaj could reportedly introduce further updates to the motor, including a four-valve cylinder head similar to the development seen on the Pulsar N160 SS. Such changes could help improve performance and make the engine more suitable for an adventure-oriented motorcycle.

The final engine specifications and performance figures, however, are yet to be officially announced.

Bajaj Adventure Bike to Rival Hero Xpulse 210, Kawasaki KLX230

In India, the upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle is expected to compete with models such as the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX230.

Both motorcycles offer a combination of road-going ability and off-road capability, putting the upcoming Bajaj model in an increasingly competitive dual-sport segment.

The final pricing, specifications and equipment will determine how strongly Bajaj can position the new motorcycle against its rivals.

Global Debut Expected Before India Launch

Interestingly, the new Bajaj adventure motorcycle is expected to make its global debut in Latin America before arriving in India.

According to the information available, Bajaj Brazil’s Executive Director recently indicated that the dual-sport adventure motorcycle could be launched in Brazil around Christmas 2026.

This raises the possibility of an India launch in early 2027, although Bajaj has not officially announced the Indian launch date.
