Home Minister Amit Shah Announces Nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ From Sep 17 To Oct 17

Amit Shah announced the nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ from September 17 to October 17, with BJP, NDA partners and voluntary groups joining the campaign.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced a nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, which will be carried out from September 17 to October 17 by BJP workers, NDA partners and several voluntary organisations.

Addressing media persons in Mumbai, Shah said the campaign will focus on Jan Bhagidari, or public participation, and contribute towards the broader vision of building a Viksit Bharat.

Campaign linked to PM Modi’s milestones

Shah said September 17 is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, while October this year marks the completion of 25 years of his public service journey as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

The campaign is being planned around these milestones, with participating organisations expected to undertake various public-oriented activities across the country.

Focus on public participation

According to Shah, the objective of the initiative is to encourage people to participate in activities aimed at serving society and contributing to the country’s development.

He said the campaign would seek to strengthen the spirit of public participation and connect people with the vision of a developed India.

Shah highlights NDA government’s initiatives

During his interaction with the media, Shah also highlighted several infrastructure, social and cultural initiativesundertaken under the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi.

He said the government’s work in different sectors has been aimed at strengthening development and improving the lives of citizens.

The month-long campaign will bring together BJP workers, NDA allies and voluntary organisations as part of the nationwide initiative.
