Honda Amaze gets a price hike
Honda has increased the prices of its third-generation Amaze in September 2026. Prices of selected variants have gone up by as much as ₹15,210. The third-generation Amaze continues to be sold alongside the second-generation model in India. Despite the latest price revision, it remains among the most affordable cars in the country to offer an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The Amaze is now priced between ₹7.65 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variant-wise price hike
The third-generation Honda Amaze is available in V, VX and ZX variants. The price changes depend on the variant and transmission.
V Manual: Price increased by ₹14,010
V CVT: Price increased by ₹4,710
VX Manual: Price increased by ₹13,410
VX CVT: Price increased by ₹15,210
ZX Manual: Price increased by ₹14,210
ZX CVT: No price hike
The VX CVT has received the biggest increase, while the top-spec ZX CVT continues at its previous price.
Engine and transmission
The third-generation Honda Amaze continues with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. The engine produces 88 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
Features and ADAS
The Amaze gets several modern features, including full-LED lighting, automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports. Its biggest highlight is ADAS. The Amaze is among the most affordable cars in India to offer this advanced safety technology, making it a notable option in the compact sedan segment.
