India Storm Into Women’s Junior Asia Cup Final With 5-1 Win

India defeated South Korea 5-1 in Moqi to reach the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2026 final, with Supriya scoring a hat-trick.

India thrash South Korea 5-1

Moqi, China: India stormed into the final of the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2026 with a commanding 5-1 victory over South Korea in Moqi, China. Supriya was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick to lead India’s dominant performance. Madhu Sidar and Sukhveer Kaur also found the net for India, while Yuri Jeong scored South Korea’s only goal.

India one win away from title

India’s latest victory puts them one step away from a third consecutive Women’s Junior Asia Cup title. The Indian team had earlier won the tournament in 2023 and 2024. India had also produced a stunning 19-0 win over Pakistan in the quarterfinals, underlining their attacking strength in the tournament.

Final clash against China

India will face host China in the final, with the team now aiming to complete a hat-trick of titles. India had topped its group after strong performances against Japan, Malaysia and South Korea before progressing through the knockout stage.
