The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has announced the Indian contingent for the Pickleball World Cup 2026 after a highly competitive selection process.
The selected players will represent India in the Pro category at the global tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Da Nang, Vietnam, from August 30 to September 6.
International pickleball player Harsh Mehta will lead India’s Pro category squad. Known for his consistent performances on the international circuit, Mehta will spearhead India’s campaign at the prestigious championship.
He will be joined by Arjun Singh, who will also represent India in the Under-18 category and serve as the captain of the U-18 team at the World Cup.
The men’s squad also includes Anish Frolian and Aman Patel, who earned their places after the selection trials.
In the women’s category, Mihika Yadav, Aaliyah Ebrahim, Pearl Amalsadiwala, and Naomi Amalsadiwali have been selected to represent India at the tournament.
The Indian Pickleball Association said the selection was conducted through a competitive process aimed at identifying the best talent to represent the country on the global stage.
The team will now prepare for the World Cup with the aim of making a strong impact in the international pickleball arena.
