Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, expressed deep condolences and solidarity with Venezuela following a series of devastating earthquakes. Prime Minister Modi assured that India stands ready to extend all possible humanitarian assistance to support rescue and recovery efforts in the affected region.

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed deep sorrow and extended their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Venezuela following the massive devastation caused by a series of severe earthquakes in the South American nation.

Through separate statements shared on social media, the Indian leadership emphasized India's unwavering solidarity with Venezuela during this time of humanitarian crisis and assured all possible support for relief and recovery operations.

Vice President Radhakrishnan Expresses Solidarity and Sympathy

In a poignant social media post, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan stated that his thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the countless families whose lives have been completely upended by the catastrophic natural disaster.

"My thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones, the injured, and the countless families whose lives have been disrupted by this severe tragedy. I join the people of India in expressing our deepest sympathy and solidarity with the people of Venezuela as they navigate this challenging hour," the Vice President said.

PM Modi Assures All Possible Assistance to Venezuela

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reached out to the international community to offer India's institutional and humanitarian backing. Extending his condolences directly to the Venezuelan government and the affected citizens, the Prime Minister prayed for the swift recovery of those who sustained injuries in the disaster.

“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives and devastation caused by the severe earthquakes in Venezuela. My thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones, and I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured,” PM Modi stated.

Reaffirming India's role as a reliable global partner during natural disasters, the Prime Minister added, “India stands in complete solidarity with the people of Venezuela affected by this tragedy. We are ready to extend all possible assistance to support the ongoing rescue and relief efforts.”

India’s Position on Global Humanitarian Support

The prompt response from India's top leadership underscores New Delhi's proactive diplomacy and commitment to international disaster relief. Officials from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) are reportedly monitoring the situation closely to coordinate any requested medical, logistical, or material aid that Venezuela might require in the coming days as rescue teams continue to clear debris and assess the full extent of the damage.
