Nayab Singh Saini Pays Obeisance at Radha-Krishna Temple in Kotla Kalan

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini visited the Radha-Krishna Temple in Kotla Kalan and urged youth to stay away from drugs and remain connected to Indian values.

Nayab Singh Saini Pays Obeisance at Radha-Krishna Temple in Kotla Kalan

Chandigarh, September 3, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday visited the Shree Radha-Krishna Temple at Sant Baba Bal Ji Ashram in Kotla Kalan, Himachal Pradesh, where he paid obeisance and sought the blessings of Rashtriya Sant Baba Bal Ji Maharaj.

Saini prayed for the peace, prosperity and well-being of Haryana and the country.

The Chief Minister appreciated the spiritual work being carried out at the ashram through devotional music, satsangs and Bhaktamal Kathas.

Culture and Modern Education Must Go Together

Saini said the younger generation must remain connected with Indian culture, values and its roots while receiving modern education.

He said embracing modernity should not mean losing touch with one's cultural identity. According to him, temples, ashrams and the Sant Samaj can play an important role in guiding young people towards positive and constructive pursuits.

Krishna's Life Teaches Karmayoga

The Chief Minister said the life of Lord Shri Krishna conveys the message of Karmayoga and the importance of performing one's duties sincerely.

Referring to the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, he said individuals should not step back from their responsibilities, regardless of challenges. He added that sincere fulfilment of duties is essential for strengthening society and the nation.

Saini Urges Youth to Stay Away From Drugs

Saini described drug abuse as a serious challenge for the younger generation and appealed to youth to stay away from drugs.

He encouraged young people to channel their energy towards sports, education, yoga, spirituality and nation-buildinginstead.

Calling upon the youth, the Chief Minister said they should not allow their lives to become trapped by drugs and should instead contribute towards building a stronger society and nation.

Haryana-Himachal Cultural Bond

Saini also highlighted the cultural and spiritual ties between Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. He said that although the two states have separate administrative boundaries, their shared culture, faith and values continue to connect their people.
